Founded in 2019, Visceral Village Productions is an Indigenous-owned Canadian film production company based in Vancouver, BC. Specializing in both narrative and non-fiction, the company focuses on creating original content for the Canadian and international marketplace.

Previous projects include the short dramedy HATHA (2021) which premiered at the Vancouver International Film Festival and the short drama/fantasy N’XAXAITKW (2022) which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. N’XAXAITKW was nominated for 5 Leo Awards and won Best Live Short at the American Indian Film Festival in 2022. The film also won 4 awards at the Vancouver International Women in Film Festival in 2023 including Best of BC, Best Short, Best Direction in a Short and Best Editing in a Short. Our most recent project I’M JUST HERE FOR THE RIOT (2023) for ESPN’s acclaimed 30 for 30 series will premiere at the 30th Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival.

Visceral Village Productions is dedicated to supporting Indigenous and underrepresented voices by helping to bring authentic stories to the screen through collaboration with international and domestic partners.
